Obviously – It’s Impossible

You probably already know that we are suffering through a severe economic crisis. In fact, some are already calling it the “Greater Depression.” In this environment you may be wondering how it is possible for you to accomplish any of your goals and desires. Many people believe “It’s Impossible.”

Illusion

Have you noticed that the majority of people believe that they are at the mercy of our economic calamity? The despairing individual is as a falling leaf in the wind. He fears losing his job, his home, his possessions and even the relationships he so much values. Fear dominates his life. You’ve got to wonder how a fearful person sleeps at night.

Ask yourself “Could a fearful person actually be existing in a world of illusion?” After all, the harsh reality is that a person attracts what he or she fears most. In the Bible, Job states “The thing I feared most has come upon me.” Although there are some natural occurrences to fear~most of what people fear is self-generated, self-created~an illusion.

Inside – Outside

Think about this. It appears quite obvious that external events have a firm grip on how we think feel and act. Each day we wake up to a world we never made. In fact, the world already existed on the day of our birth. From the time we’re born we are taught what the “significant” others in our life believe is true. Whether it is our parents, teachers, religious leaders, politicians, the mass media, etc. they attempt to mold us into what they believe we should become. How could we be any other way than the way we are? It is evident we didn’t create the world we live in.

Open up your mind and allow yourself to think that maybe the above paragraph is an illusion. Imagine the possibility that you have accepted something that may not be true~the ideas and beliefs of the collective unconscious. Now totally expand your conscious and consider the idea that you create your own reality. You begin to realize that reality is not outside of who you are. It is an inside job.

Breaking free from what Carl Jung calls the beliefs of the “collective unconscious” is the only hope a person has of experiencing a rewarding, successful life. Traveling the path of personal enlightenment guarantees he sees through illusion and happily discovers what truth actually is. Otherwise, he or she will be forevermore trapped by the faulty beliefs of society. Obviously this means a person lives by the values of others. He adopts second-hand values.

Conclusion

If reality is outside of who you are and external events control your destiny, then you can conclude “Yeah, it’s impossible to overcome this economic disaster.” If, on the other hand, you create your reality you can adopt the happy conclusion that “Yes, I can survive and thrive during the economic crisis. Why? Because I create my circumstances. My reality is my creation.”

Wouldn’t be amazing if the above is true?
